FDA sets July 23–24 hearing on seven research peptides

The FDA’s Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee (PCAC) will meet July 23–24, 2026 at the agency’s White Oak campus to review seven peptides nominated for the 503A compounding bulks list: BPC-157, KPV, TB-500, and MOTS-c on Day 1, and Emideltide (DSIP), Semax, and Epitalon on Day 2. The committee weighs the safety, quality, and historical-use evidence for each substance and issues a recommendation; the FDA can accept, modify, or decline it. The outcome could reshape how several widely discussed research peptides are treated under U.S. compounding rules.
